On-site Appraisals

On‑site appraisal (Home/Workplace/Business)within the City of Edmonton is included in the standard appraisal fee. For locations outside of City of Edmonton, travel is billed based on both Time and Distance at $60/hr plus $0.70 per km.

Service Description

All listed prices apply to Preliminary Estimates Only. An additional $50 fee is charged per file to manage the full appraisal process from Initial Assessment (Estimate) through all Supplements (communications with repair shops) and Final Supplement submissions. This ensures complete handling of the claim from start to finish with consistent quality and accuracy.

  • Distance: 35 km one‑way

  • Round‑trip distance: 70 km

  • Mileage rate: $0.70 per km

  • Travel time rate: $60 per hour

  • Travel time: 1 hour total (30 minutes each way)

Calculation:

  • Mileage: 70 km×$0.70=$49

  • Travel time: 1 hour×$60=$60

Total Travel Cost:

$49 + $60 = $109
